What We’re Reading This Week
Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer
Why we picked it up: You’re not supposed to do this but… we picked this one up because of it’s cover. The bold title Eating Animals will make meat lovers and vegetarians alike turn heads.
Why we couldn’t put it down: This is not a book that makes a case for vegetarianism. It’s a story. Even though it’s nonfiction you will eat up Foer’s words like your favorite tofu breakfast scramble.

Men Explain Things To Me by Rebecca Solnit
Why we picked up this book: Honestly, if you haven’t heard of this book already, we’d love to know what rock you’re living under so that we can vacation there. We picked this one up because it’s a classic.
Why we couldn’t put it down: This book explores the highs and lows of feminism. It can be hilarious and cringeworthy, but at all times it’s an honest exploration of what happens when women are silenced.
